With the club unable to play Brennan due to its points squeeze, the former AFL player kept his match fitness up by playing reserves against Rand-Walbundrie-Walla on Sunday.
He picked up 25 possessions with a minimum of fuss.
Brennan carries five player points and will only be able to be called into the seniors if Henty loses two of its highest-point carrying players in Daniel and Dale Cox, Joel Price, William Farrer, Jarrah Maksymow or Damian Cupido.
The other bonus of Brennan playing in the reserves is that he has now played five club games and will drop a point next season.
“He had a run around in the reserves and got through OK,” coach Joel Price said.
“Jared’s there and ready to go if something happens on the injury front.”
Henty will regain centre half-forward Shannon Terlich and defender Beau Connell for Saturday’s top-of-the-table showdown against Brock-Burrum at Walbundrie.
The winner will advance to the grand final.
“We will be pretty much be at full strength,” Price said.
Henty trained at Birallee Park on the weekend.
Jindera and Holbrook will fight to keep their seasons alive on Sunday.
