Two Wangaratta men have been charged with murder following the discovery of a body on at a property on Ryan Avenue in Wangaratta yesterday.

The body, which is still to be formally identified, was located yesterday afternoon at about 4.20pm.
The charges follow an appeal for information into the whereabouts of Nathan Day, and the property inspected is located about 200 metres from the house where Mr Day was last seen on July 26.
The exact cause of death is yet to be determined and police will await the results of a post-mortem.
The two men, aged 59 and 42, both from Wangaratta, have been charged with one count of murder each and were last night remanded in custody to appear at the Wangaratta Magistrates’ Court later this morning.
