Mr Evans hosted the ‘Going Gourmet at the Wood Fire Oven’ event at Hovell Tree Park on Sunday, featuring seasonal produce from the region.
He shared stories of his time as a critic and chef, as well as tales of his life at Fat Pig Farm in Tasmania.
Attendees enjoyed delicious tastings and heard about his philosophy of ethical, seasonal food.
Now in its fourth season on SBS, Gourmet Farmer followed Mr Evans as he traded city life for a rural farm, explores artisan produce and expands his farm into a restaurant.
