The Hawks raced to a nine-goal lead at half-time before holding firm in a tense second-half.
Abbey O'Brien starred at wing attack, Rebecca Cameron played well at goal attack and goal-keeper Ellen Cook repelled many attacks.
Coach Kathy Evans said it was a strong team performance with Kiewa-Sandy Creek now looking forward to taking on Tallangatta.
“It’s an exciting opportunity for our girls to play in a grand final against the defending premier,” Evans said.
“It’s not every day you get to play in a grand final.
“It will be good to match ourselves against the favourites for the flag.”
Rutherglen played some of its best netball of the season during the finals, accounting for Barnawartha and Thurgoona.
The match starts at 2.35pm.
