The doctor accused of filming and sexually assaulting patients at a Wangaratta clinic has indicated he will fight the charges against him.
Stewart Moroney, 69, attended at the Wangaratta Courthouse as it opened at 9am Monday.
As it was the first time for the charges to be listed before court, he was able to have the case adjourned without going in front of a magistrate.
He remains on bail and suspended from practising as a doctor.
Police revealed in June they had identified 19 potential female victims aged between 17 and 60 in the investigation.
Moroney was charged after allegedly conducting a female health test on a patient without wearing gloves on October 10 while working as a GP at the Ely Street Clinic.
The woman, who contacted police the next day, also alleges she saw camera equipment in the room.
Moroney told Channel 7 outside court on Monday he planned to contest the charges when the case came back to court in October.
