Bonat accepted a one-week penalty for striking Wangaratta’s Will Reilly in the opening term of Sunday’s first semi-final at W.J.Findlay Oval and a one-week ban for striking Jamie Anderson in the fourth quarter.
The Reilly charge was picked up by the video review panel.
Meanwhile, Wangaratta Rovers third grade player Regan Gorman will front the tribunal on Wednesday night to contest a charging report.
He was booked by field umpire Ray Robins following an incident involving Yarrawonga’s Austin Frauenfelder on Sunday.
Gorman is hoping to be cleared to play against Albury in this weekend’s preliminary final.
Wangaratta’s James Reilly was booked for making contact with umpire Bradley Piazza during the Magpies reserve grade loss to Wodonga Raiders.
