A MAN has been caught hiding inside a trailer in a garage, covered by a tarp, following a bizarre incident in Springhurst.

The 39-year-old has been charged with trespassing after jumping fences and entering several backyards on School Road on Monday morning.
He had dumped his car before walking into the rear of the first property.
He entered through a rear door and spoke to the occupant, who called police.
Police cordoned off the scene and tried to locate the man.
When he was found, the 39-year-old had several thousand dollars in cash on him.
The car was out of fuel but it was unclear what the man was doing at the properties.
“A number of police units managed to contain him and keep him from taking off,” Acting Sergeant Guy Mitchell said.
“The residents in Springhurst did a good job of notifying us in the first place but also notifying each of their neighbours.
“They’ve assisted us with the search.”
