The All-Male Revue brings Australia’s most sought after drag queens to the Albury Entertainment Centre stage on September 21.

The 90-minute drag extravaganza takes audiences on a musical journey from where it all began with the famous Les Girls of Kings Cross in the 60s, across the Australian desert with Priscilla Queen of the Desert in the 90s, and into 2018 with a celebration of modern music icons. 

“We were just in Narrabri, it’s a dry as anything there at the moment,” says  six-foot something songstress Prada Clutch.

“For me, I want people to forget what’s going on in their life and come along and have a good night.

“After the show that’s exactly what people came up to be saying, ‘we’re having our worst drought at the moment but tonight we’ve just completely forgotten about it and had the best time’.

“So for me I just want people to enjoy themselves, forget about their troubles and have the best time ever.”

In the show, with a cast of seven, Prada and her stunning ‘girls’ pay tribute to Les Girls with a fabulous Vegas-style feathered showgirl number.

They will also perform an array of songs from Priscilla Queen of the Desert including crowd favourites I Love the Nightlife, Shake Your Groove Thing and I Will Survive, and delight with hits from music icons including ABBA, Cher and Lady Gaga. 

“You’ve got people who are big fans of the show, of the movie and the musical and then you’ve got people who have seen Les Girls,” Prada says 

“We’ve had original Les Girls help us with the show.

“We’ve got costumes and stuff, feathers, how they did it so it sort of takes people’s memories straight back there.

“We get such an unusual mix in the crowd, people that I don’t expect, and we get people on Zimmer frames, who saw the original Les Girls, it’s fabulous. I think people are really open to it, it has become so mainstream.”

Prada Clutch is known for her commanding stage presence and draws her inspiration from the likes of Dusty Springfield, Patti LaBelle and Cher.

Prada’s Priscillas is creatively directed by one of the original Les Girls, Monique Kelly, with choreography by Stephen Clarke who has worked with the Minogue sisters, Cyndi Lauper and Diana Ross.
