The footwear forms the centrepiece of the Get Styled charity fashion event at Mantra Albury Hotel, which will raise money for community support programs and the Albury Wodonga Regional Cancer Centre.
Organiser Natt Cross, an Albury stylist, said the shoes were donated by a North East business woman who heard about charity bike rides completed by Mrs Cross’ husband Marty that raised nearly $35,000 for Chapel Care, run by New Life Chapel.

“She was inspired by what my husband did and she had shoes from a boutique in Sydney actually that she was no longer requiring,” Mrs Cross said.
“Knowing that I was a stylist, she donated the 200 pairs of designer shoes to me to sell to go to Chapel Care.
“That goes directly to helping people in the community, so we’ve helped people with medical costs, emergency accommodation, food, school fees.
“If we hear about a need, we might see a news story or we might hear through a school or word of mouth or somebody connected to our church or through a chaplain at school, then we sort of search out those people.
“Everything stays local and it doesn’t get tied up in admin fees or anything like that.”
Being held during the cancer centre’s fundraising Sunshine Week, the fashion night also supports that facility.
Make-up tips, new season fashion, a silent auction, live entertainment and giveaways will feature in Get Styled as well.
“It’s just going to be a night of, yeah, fun, bubbles and cheese,” Mrs Cross said.
But we can’t forget those shoes.
“Fully leather, there’s boots, there’s high heels, evening shoes, there’s wedges, they’re amazing,” the organiser said.
“You just don’t see them around here, they’re stunning.
“They range in price from $200 to $900 retail, however, I’m selling them on the night for donations.”
Tickets are $40 a head and can be booked on 0413 321 050 or info@nattcross.com. More details on Facebook.
