Dealing with Debt, being presented by the Women’s Centre for Health and Wellbeing and Anglicare Riverina, is a 2.5 hour education session on types of debts and options to address them.
Anglicare Riverina financial counsellor Susan Cheetham said participants would not be required to reveal their own situations.
“We don’t want to know anyone’s individual debts, we’re going to talk about things in general,” she said.
“We’ve found that everyone who’s come through a previous session gained something from it and also they had a lot of fun.
“It’s done in a very relaxed, non-confrontational way.”
