The 80-year-old was driving with his 44-year-old son in the passenger seat on Black Range Creek Road in Edi Upper just after 11am when the the crash occurred on the dirt road.
Senior Constable Paul Guy said it was unclear why the crash occurred, as the driver had no memory of the incident, but he believed the car had been travelling under the speed limit.
“He appears to have lost control on the bend,” he said.
“He’s tried to over-correct, lost control and rolled the LandCruiser.”
The trailer full of firewood stayed upright.
Both the driver and passenger were taken to hospital by ambulance with minor injuries.
