The star defender lines up for Collingullie on Saturday against Wagga Tigers in the Riverina league grand final at Narrandera and 24 hours later will take the court for her original club, Albury, in the O and M decider against Wangaratta where both teams are chasing their first A grade flag.

In an across the board rules loophole which allows unrestricted movement of players between competitions in season unlike football, Hart has played the majority of the season for Collingullie, but has played the six matches required for Albury to also qualify for O and M finals.

Albury team-mate Bridget Aughton has played for Torquay this season and is also free to play for the Tigers in the grand final.

Last Sunday the RFL and O and M preliminary finals clashed with Hart lining up for Collingullie as the Tigers won an overtime thriller against minor premiers Lavington on the same day.

Hart moved to Wagga at the start of year to work as an occupational therapist with her partner Dereck Singe also making the move for employment and both joined Collingullie.

“No one has told me I can’t play for both and because they are different leagues in different states it’s fine,” she said.

“The O and M season started about four weeks before the Riverina and I got four games in before Collingullie started and then they had a couple of Sunday games.

“We haven’t beaten (Wagga Tigers) this year, but we are coming off a really good game two weeks ago against them.

“There will be some celebrations at Collingullie if we win, but I will be in good condition for Sunday.”

Hart is a two-time A and C grade best and fairest winner at Albury and also finished third to Emily Browne in the Toni Wilson medal count last year.

“Albury is my home club and when I first started about nine years ago we were dead last,” she said.

“It’s only the last couple of years we’ve come good and had a real crack at finals.

“I want to be part of that first ever A grade premiership.”

Albury has made its way to the grand final from fifth spot and playing Sundays has enabled her to play for both clubs in finals up until last weekend.

But, the O and M grand final is the first time this season both Hart and Aughton have played in the same team.

“It has been a juggling act for us all season,” Albury coach Liv Aughton said.

“But our girls are really adaptive.

“It is the first season we haven’t had Brigetta (full-time) and the girls revel around the fact she comes back into the team because you know you’re going to get quality.”
