Senior men’s cup finalists Boomers recognised star defender Dustin Patten as its best and fairest after another excellent campaign.
Patten won the club’s top honour from Pieter Noordewier and Noah Spiteri.
He was also the club’s leading vote-getter in the AWFA Star Player earlier in the month with 19 – eight behind Myrtleford’s Tom Youngs.
Cobram captain Aaron Feldtmann came out on top in an injured-riddled year for last year’s cup finalists.
The Roar managed to scrape into the cup finals after finishing eighth in the league, with Feldtmann leading the charge in the second half of the season.
Young striker Will Seabrook was the runner-up.
Mason Nhansana dominated the major awards at Wodonga Diamonds.
The classy midfielder won both the best and fairest and players’ player crowns in what was a tough year for the red and white.
Brianne Buckingham capped off an impressive campaign with Diamonds’ senior women’s side by winning the best and fairest award.
Bridie Kennedy was named players’ player.
Albury United captain Caleb Martin was a deserved winner of the Greens’ senior men’s top award.
Martin was ineligible to win the AWFA Star Player after accumulating five yellow cards, but still managed to poll 24 votes on the night.
Young gun Jonah Schneider was the Greens’ players’ player.
Zoie Dalitz did the double in United’s senior women’s awards – winning the best and fairest and players’ player.
Albury Hotspurs had a first-time winner with Luke Dahl taking out the best and fairest.
The 18-year-old finished in front of goalkeeper Joel McDonough.
Wangaratta’s best and fairest was won by Riley Hamilton from Lachlan Campbell, while English recruit Leanne Branson claimed the senior women’s top honour ahead of Christina Mancuso.
