House made giant strides with a young group, finishing with six wins and competing well in most matches, particularly in the latter part of the season.
“I certainly didn't have any hesitation, so when the club offered me the opportunity to do it again, I was more than happy to take it on,” House said.
“We’ve had a really enjoyable 12 months and I’m looking forward to extending that in 2019.”
House is hoping to maintain the bulk of this year’s squad and potentially add some taller options in the goal circle.
“I don’t think any team in the competition would knock back tall timber in their goal circle, it’s probably an area we could pick up a little,” she said
“We’ll continue working on things like work rate and maintaining that across four quarters.
“I think defensively we’re pretty good, Vashti (Muller) missed five games and finished the league best and fairest with 20 votes (equal fourth).
House has been coaching for almost a quarter of a century, starting with Raiders, then Lavington, before racking up a number of premierships at Barnawartha in the Tallangatta league.
The Raiders’ life member has also coached junior representative teams.
House is the current Netball Victoria North East Zone Academy assistant coach.
