It won Champion Boutique Extra Virgin Olive Oil and top-scored with its kalamata table olives at the Sydney Fine Food Show on Friday night.
Gooramadda Olives co-owner Rob Whyte said the accolades followed two tough seasons.
“Last year a mild summer resulted in the fruit ripening very slow to not at all meaning we weren't able to harvest much fruit,” he said.
“I suspect it was also a result of this that when it came time to produce flowers and hence new fruit, very few flowers appeared. That meant that once again we were battling to get a decent harvest.
“Often adversity brings success and it would appear that this year that has happened with Sydney Fine Food.”
