The match review panel investigated a melee in the second quarter and charged Sedgwick with a reportable offence of bumping or making forceful contact to Jindera’s Sam Myors from front-on.
The club must inform the league by Monday as to whether it will accept the penalty and officials remain unsure if a tribunal will be required.
Brock-Burrum stormed home with eight goals to one in the final term to defeat Jindera by 50 points – 15.19 (109) to 8.11 (59).
It was the Saints’ fourth premiership in six years.
Jindera forward Trent Castles avoided suspension for the grand final after receiving a reprimand for a bumping or making forceful contact charge from the preliminary final against Henty.
