Albury born-and-bred Danielle Cale opened Yuu Sushi in Dean Street about three years ago.
She said it specialised in fresh, healthy and creative sushi with locally owned and sourced produce.
“We’re passionate about serving delicious, fresh and authentic Japanese cuisine to our customers in Albury and surrounding areas,” she said.
“I’ve lived in Albury my whole life but Yuu Sushi was my first restaurant.
“It’s been a good journey.”

Yuu Sushi specialises in sushi, udon and ramen with sake to complement the Japanese dining experience.
Without a website, it joined online food delivery marketplace Menulog within six months of opening to give it an online presence.
It was named Menulog’s Best Japanese Restaurant in the Murray region for summer 2018.
Yuu Sushi says head chef Ando Suryadi’s favourite colour is black, his favourite dish is chicken and avo nigiri and his dream holiday destination is Switzerland.
