MIDFIELDER Chris Duck has romped to victory in Rand-Walbundrie-Walla’s best and fairest count.
Duck led from the opening rounds to finish well clear of young ruckman Mitch Thomas and fellow midfielder Justin Gordon.
Thomas is set to try his hand in the Ovens and Murray next season.
Duck, who joined the Giants from University Blacks this season, shouldered a huge workload with Ryan Lavery managing only six matches due to a leg injury.
In the reserves, Sam Gifford was victorious from Luke Holman.
League best and fairest winner Jess Kotzur took out the Giants’ A-grade netball award.
Allan Thomas and Noel Garlick were awarded life memberships.
Meanwhile, CDHBU and Osborne are the only clubs yet to announce their senior coaches for next season.
Mick Collins and Jeremy Stevenson led the Power this year while Matt Rava was in charge of the Cats.
