Thurgoona’s beautiful Kensington Gardens lifestyle estate is opening its doors to visitors on October 13 and welcoming inspections for people interested in finding out what retirement villages offer in this day and age.
Don’t let the word ‘retirement’ fool you, however.
Kensington Gardens is a hive of activity most days and residents take advantage of the wide variety of activities and services that are on hand.
Estate manager Tony Lieschke said the open day was the ideal opportunity for those interested to come and meet with and talk to residents.
“This day is not about management spruking the benefits of moving into a lifestyle estate. It’s about meeting with people and chatting with those that live here and finding out how they enjoy it. The residents are happy to share their experiences and talk to visitors about how the move has been for them.”
