Kensington Gardens has a lovely atmosphere.
Residents are out and about, tending to their gardens, heading into town, chatting to neighbors or getting ready for a game of golf or one of the many other activities on offer.
There’s not too much else to worry about at this lifestyle village with many of the worries that often coming with looking after a house taken care of – allowing you more time to plan your next adventure!
One of the unique aspects of this estate is that internal and external maintenance is the responsibility of management.
“It’s a big part of the appeal of the estate that residents don’t have to worry about tackling these sorts of problems and can get on with doing things they enjoy,” said estate manager Tony Lieschke.
“All our residents are required to do is fill out a maintenance request form and we will have it attended to.”
Service is a big part of the story here, and whilst jobs like building repairs are looked after, Kensington Gardens also make sure their residents have access to other important services.
Last year a new on site hairdresser was a popular addition and now the services of osteopath John Swinton are a regular occurrence.
The practitioner visits the village one day a week and has a treatment room set up in the country club
“I started coming out in February and since then the word of mouth has been a valuable part of the business.
“Many residents utilise osteo treatment as part of their ongoing health care and I think it’s great that the club offers this sort of service,” said John.
“Some months are busier than others, with many residents taking off on longer trips in the winter, and I am starting to get busier now that they have all started trickling back in.”
He said there was scope for the service to be offered two days a week if the need was there.
Kensington also offer residents additional covered and secure shedding facilities for their caravans when they return from their Australian adventures.
There are currently 25 fully lockable sites in use, with power, and more planned for future development. There is open space storage also.
