There will be something for everyone there – whether anime is your fancy, comic books rev your engine or it's gaming that grabs your attention, it's the place to be if your interests skew more towards the niche.
A range of special guests and stallholders will be in attendance, headlined by Steven 'Bajo’ O’Donnell, Twitch streamer, former host of ABC's Good Game and panel member of Dr Who fan show Whovians.
For cosplay and anime enthusiasts Crystal Schubert and Jay Butterworth, the date for Border Dimensions has been marked on the calendar for months.
“It's rare to have something like this locally, generally we'd have to travel to Melbourne or elsewhere,” Miss Schubert said.
“That involves getting accommodation, travel, all that is a hassle, so it's really nice to have something here.
“I consider this weekend to be my birthday, my actual birthday is the weekend after, so this weekend I get to hang out with my friend Jay here and have some fun.”
Other guests at the expo include MC, actor and stand-up comedian Rob Lloyd and illustrator Chris Kennett.
Border Dimensions has been organised by the Rotary Club of Albury-Wodonga Sunshine.
Club president Greg Sheridan said their members considered it important to give lesser know hobbies an event to enjoy.
“This is its third year, we've been in Albury for two years and we're giving Wodonga a go this time around,” he said.
“There's not really a venue for anime and cosplay, all those alternative ways of expressing yourself anywhere in the region.
“There's lots of little groups around that operate, but this is a way of bringing them all together.”
Check it out – it'll be out of this world.
