It’s been 10 years since the soil was first turned at Kensington Gardens and management are working on releasing Stage 8 soon.
Located on Table Top Road the estate is nearby to the Thurgoona Shopping centre and a short trip into Albury via the Riverina Highway.
It’s easy access to nearby services is just a small part of its overall appeal with the estate’s facilities and activities a drawcard.
“Some of our residents have looked at many possibilities before choosing this one,” said estate manager Tony Lieschke.

“In fact we know of one couple that inspected 40 different places along the east coast before settling here.”
The over 50s Lifestyle Estates in Albury (and Shepparton) have been developed by the Green Group, a Queensland-based private company owned by the Green family.
There are currently 181 homes at Kensington and Stage 8 will see the development of another 22 new blocks. When the village is fully developed in years to come it will have 370 homes.
The Thurgoona clubhouse is often at the centre of residents’ social lives and with facilities like the residents' workshop, an auditorium, the outdoor barbecue area - with fire pit - a cinema and indoor pool and activities like snooker, library, table tennis and games nights there’s no reason not to enjoy plenty of social interaction.
“We recently created direct access for our residents to the 13th fairway at the Thurgoona Golf Resort and we are underway with getting a croquet pitch and club up and running,” said Tony.
