One of the silver linings though, is that the complexity of romance is a rich goldmine those of a creative bent, like Grace Rouvray.
The former James Fallon High School student is the star of the comedy/drama 600 Bottles of Wine, a television series based on her blog of the same name.
After being picked up to run on British online platform BB3 and Television New Zealand’s online service, the award-winning eight-episode season will be broadcast in Australia for the first time by Channel Eleven, starting on October 18.
The show follows the exploits of Claire, played by Ms Rouvray, who has recently broken up with a long-term boyfriend and finds herself in new territory as a single woman.
Based on Rouvray's successful proof-of-concept blog, the show features Angus McLaren and Nerida Brownen as co-stars.
Produced by Cockatoo Co.Lab and directed by Ainslee Clouston, the show will also be available on Channel 10's streaming service, tenplay.
