Garden lovers come together to create beauty at this estate

One feature that stands out as you explore Kensington Gardens is the array of beautiful gardens on display.

It’s obvious that many of the residents here have a love of gardening and that many have down-sized from significant garden spaces.

One such couple is Ross and Toots Anderson who relocated from Cleveland in Queensland.

“We had three acres of gardens before we came here so this is a bit different,” said Toots.

Another resident, Trish Bartling, has lived at Kensington for four years and moved down from the Gold Coast (and a one acre garden) to be closer to family.

She loves her colourful garden and more so the ability to be able to lock and leave the property to travel around Australia or take off on a cruise - something she hopes to do regularly.

There's even room for an artfully placed wheelbarrow garden in the Anderson's front yard.
