Hundreds of visitors witnessed boot making, wool spinning, wood turning, blacksmithing and butter making while period costumes also featured throughout.
Guests including Farrer MP Sussan Ley and member for Albury Greg Aplin helped museum volunteers open the blacksmith stables project, plant commemorative trees and dedicate a new gallery.

Publicist Jacqui Schulz said the event encouraged many to visit the museum for the first time.
“There were people waiting to get in, which was lovely,” she said.
“(The museum’s) had this wonderful rejuvenation.
“There’s a pretty dynamic crew involved at the moment that are very passionate and connected.”
