The number is slightly down on last season when 64 men and women’s sides played at the Albury Grasscourts.
Reigning premier Forrest Hill, with Sally Bulle and Kara Curphey certain to impress, will launch their season against Thurgoona Jade in section one ladies on Saturday.
Wodonga Diamonds and winter premier Wodonga Larrikins, with Sandra Allen and Jeanne Piergrosse at the helm, will clash alongside Wodonga Dodgers and Wodonga Tigers.
In section one men, Wodonga Bulldogs, with Graham Hawkins and Cameron Meagher sure to play key roles, host Wangaratta.
St Patricks/Diggerville Chill take on club mates Hilfiger and Forrest Hill Cats face Forrest Hill Blues.
The first junior Sportspower tournament in the series will be played at the grasscourts on October 28 with Wodonga staging the next on November 4.
