Gorman, a brother of Pigeon player Matt, will slot into the club’s midfield as it attempts to build on this year's fourth placing.
“He’s going to give us some extra leg speed through the midfield and up forward,” Yarrawonga coach Damian Sexton said.
“It’s great to have him back playing with Matt.
“He’s been a good player for Barooga for a few years and we think he has a lot to offer.”
Gorman’s signing will help soften the blow of missing out on Williamstown star Willie Wheeler who has opted to stay in the VFL.
Wheeler kicked two goals for the Seagulls in their one-point loss to Box Hill in this year’s preliminary final and would have been a huge inclusion playing alongside his brother, Harry, and Mark Whiley at Yarrawonga.
Harry took out the Pigeons’ best and fairest in his first year at J.C. Lowe Oval.
