AN ALBURY tattoo business forced to close by police has found a permanent home in Wodonga.
Staff moved from the COD Lane premises to High on Ink in Wodonga after the forced closure, which manager Chris McFarlane said would now become permanent.
The businesses are merging to form Resurrection Art Collective with nine tattooists, a piercer and a barber.
“A bad situation has turned around,” Mr McFarlane said.
“Everyone is really happy and the shop is running really well.”
He hopes signage at High on Ink will be changed over in coming weeks and doesn't expect there to be any further concerns from authorities.
The new business has been registered with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission since last month.
Mr McFarlane said a counter staff member, piercer and cleaner had lost jobs during the change.
