Wangaratta Council’s new feature allows people to see aerial imagery as well as planning zones and overlays.
Acting chief executive Alan Clark said having online mapping available to the public would increase transparency and make it easier for people to find out details about their properties.

“Some of the most common questions people ask when planning a development or addition to their property are around what zone it is in and whether they can access aerial imagery,” he said.
“People can now access that information from the comfort of their homes or offices, without having to come in to the planning and building counter.”
