The Creative Learners quilters meet weekly at Albury-Wodonga Community College and yesterday handed over their latest creations to Westmont Aged Care Services.
Creative Learners secretary Carol Murray said the group raised money through sausage sizzles to buy wadding but most of the fabric and all of the time was donated.

“We do a lot of chatting as we do our stitching,” she said.
“On average, there’d be about 50 to 60 hours of sewing in each quilt.
“You can only use so many yourself, but it’s good to be able to give to others.
“It gives everybody a nice warm feeling that they can help somebody else.”
New members are always welcome, with brochures for next year available from Albury-Wodonga Community College.
