Albury Wodonga Health consultant physician Hecham Harb is the guest speaker at the Albury-Wodonga Diabetes Support Group annual general meeting at Commercial Club Albury from 7pm.
Syrian-born Dr Harb said he would discuss lifestyle, diabetes management, the impact of anxiety and depression and the change of medical focus from when all attention went to the pancreas.
“Now it’s not the only story, there are more than eight organs now involved in diabetes aetiology and that should reflect on diabetes management,” he said.
