Detectives had been investigating the blaze, which broke out at the Burke Street property about 2.30am on Saturday.
The fire caused significant damage to the white weatherboard home.
Investigators returned to the scene on Monday.
Detective Sergeant Chris Hill said it had been confirmed that there was nothing suspicious.
He said an accident by the occupant had caused the fire.
The blaze had started in a bedroom.
The resident had returned home to find the property alight.
Firefighters in four trucks had attended the scene and extinguished the fire.
