Margosis, who previously spent two seasons with the Demons, has returned to the club with Marrar teammate Alex Smith.
“I just wanted to get back to a more competitive league,” Margosis, 25, said.
“I’ve got a few good mates out there as well.”
Margosis won Marrar’s best and fairest in its premiership season under Shane Lenon.
Former Lockhart coach Jake Phillips has signed on for more two years with the Demons while key position player Andrew Emery has also committed to play under Nathan McPherson.
Ruckman Zac Sheather is a doubtful starter.
