The Country Women’s Association of NSW will hold its 2019 annual general meeting and conference at Albury Entertainment Centre between May 6 and 10.
Chief executive Danica Leys met with Albury mayor Kevin Mack on Tuesday to discuss the gathering, which is attended by members from nearly 400 branches across NSW.

Ms Leys said the delegates would debate motions, talk over policies and form positions on issues for the coming year.
“But we also have a great opportunity to exhibit who we are and what we’re about,” she said.
“There’s handicraft displays, cookery displays, international and environment displays, it’s a really well-rounded event and really well attended.”
Cr Mack welcomed next year’s conference as a chance to promote the region.
