The day allows people to make or update their will or Power of Attorney documents with help from NSW Trustee and Guardian.
NSW Trustee and Guardian has been making wills, Powers of Attorney and administering estates in NSW for 100 years and has written more than one million wills.
NSW Trustee and Guardian spokesman Tony Dacey said without a will, items of monetary and sentimental value might not be distributed as you wished.
“It is also important your will is kept up-to-date as your life circumstances change, for example, when you get married, purchase a business or property, get divorced, or have children,” he said.
“Every adult 18 years and over needs to set time aside to get these documents in place because no one knows what is around the corner.”
The Plan Ahead Day will be held at Albury Local Court.
Bookings are essential on 1300 721 601.
