Despite a fine knock of 65 from Demons’ skipper Andrew Creamer, the Rangers were able to bowl the visitors out for 139.
Martyn Allwood starred with the ball with 4-32 from nine overs.
In reply, the Rangers found themselves reeling at 3-11, before Andrew Gilmore compiled a match-winning knock of 54 in the middle order.
Gilmore was dismissed with 40 still required, but lower order contributions from Justin Bradbury (12 not out) and Zach Leach (10 not out) saw Baranduda home with an over to spare.
Jesse Marcuzzi was outstanding for Dederang with 4-36.
“It was a good game of cricket,” Barnaduda coach Vince Moran said.
“They got off to a good start, Andy Creamer batted the house down as we know he’s more than capable of.
“We managed to keep the wickets falling around him, and, when he fell, we were lucky to put the boot in and grab a couple more to get them for 140.
“They bowled pretty well, Brett Allan was a bit unlucky to hit it straight to a fielder, but that’s the nature of the game.
“We were definitely pretty tight early, we were 3-11 and 4-40, so it was just a case of having to dig in and do the right things.
“Andrew Gilmore did exactly that, he waited for the bad ball and put it away and in between he kept all the good stuff out.
“By his standards, it was very patient.”
