In 2018, there are a couple of options on offer for those who want to be at the track.
Locally, Wangaratta and Albury will be hosting race meetings.
It will be a big day at Wangaratta, with the Wangaratta Turf Club event the first since the opening of its $7 million grand stand and function centre.
The price of general admission tickets is $20.
In fashions on the field, categories include Lady of the Day, Best Dressed Gent, Best Dressed lady over 40, Best Dressed couple, young Miss Racegoer and Best Dressed boy and girl under 12.
Gates open at 11am and a free town bus pick-up and drop-off service will be run on the day.
