Daniel Sobolewski, Molly Dove and Taylin Fell did the bulk of their good work early, holding out a strong finish from Phoenix.

A classy doubles victory by Nick Vicary and Graham Wurtz gave Forest Hill Blues a narrow three-game triumph over club mates Galahs in section one men.
Mal Lieschke lent strong support, while Matthew Paull, Ephraim Mitchell and Cam Scholz fought hard for Galahs.
Brock Dixon was unbeaten in SPD Hilfiger’s defeat of Wangaratta, with Jade Culph outstanding in SPD Chill’s salute over Forest Hill Cats.
In the ladies, Lynda Davis and Tricia Baldwin steered Thurgoona Jade to a two-game victory over Wodonga Diamonds.
Sally Bulle was the standout in Forest Hill’s 4-2 defeat of Wodonga Dodgers.
The remaining match saw a red-hot Sandra Allen lead Wodonga Larrikins to a 4-2 win over Wodonga Tigers.

In the ladies, Dionne Hartley, Kerry Grigg, Michelle Sutcliffe and Shellie Graham claimed the final two rubbers to secure a two-game victory over Uiver Park.
Wodonga Rosellas defeated Forest Hill, with Wodonga Doves completely in control over SPD Gold.
Albury Gold lost two tight sets against Wodonga Pirates before shifting into gear in the best of section three, while Thurgoona Bears posted a nine-game victory against Forest Hill Saints.
Albury Blue had the points after four sets against Forest Hill Blues, Wodonga Eagles were never troubled by Glenly Gold, with SPD Tigers likewise over club mates Blues.
In section five, Scots Aqua beat SPD Blue, 4-2.
Albury Gold, Albury Blue and Forest Hill Galahs all had one-sided victories.
