Australian Frontline Machinery will host its first sale of ex-military vehicles, clothing and equipment at Bandiana from November 19 to 24.
Australian Frontine Machinery spokeswoman Emma Anderson said a whopping 2,746,000 items would be offered for sale online; everything including the vehicles had a reserve price of $9.
She said there would be two motorcycles among the 41 vehicles on offer.
“We haven’t offered motorcycles for the past three to four years,” she said.
“There are 10 Land Rovers, five Mack trucks and 20 trailers of different sizes.”
Ms Anderson said there was an extraordinary amount of clothing available for sale.
“There will be 20,000 pairs of boots, 40,000 shirts, 400 neckties, 90,000 socks, 10,000 goggles and coveralls,” she said.
“Clothing can’t have military logos but there will be some hints as to its history in the army, navy or airforce.”
Inspections will be on-site at Bandiana defence base on November 23 and 24 from 9am to 4pm. The vehicles will be sold with roadworthy certificates.
A team of 20 Reservists has been preparing the sale items for two months.
Bidding at graysonline.com opens at 4pm on November 19. It closes at 4pm on November 24.
