The district’s official rink won four of its five matches to take home the Official Cup against its Zone 8 rivals.
Albury and District’s Wally Bourne, Steve Martini, Slawko Kitt, Jeff Brundell and Lloyd Ronan defeated Riverina, 27-6, South West, 14-7, Wagga, 16-12 and Southern Highlands, 14-9, with their only loss coming against Southern Slopes, 10-15

Wagga claimed the main event with three wins, one draw and one loss.
Southern Slopes finished runners-up with three wins and two losses, ahead of Albury and District on shots difference in third.
Wins came against South West (69-64), Wagga (68-65) and Southern Highlands (70-68), but they fell to Riverina (80-59) and Southern Slopes (78-68).
John Dawson’s rink was the only undefeated side for Albury and District.
