Suidgeest finished with a stunning 11 wickets at just 12 in Riverina’s three games.
The right-armer, who made the Australian Country Merit team following the national titles in January, started with 3-45 against Newcastle on Friday.
He followed with 5-51 against ACT Southern Districts and completed his campaign with 3-38 against Greater Illawarra on Sunday.
Suidgeest dismissed Illawarra dangerman Graeme Batty for 13.
Batty made an unbeaten 75 against ACT and 86 against Newcastle.
As the three largest regional centres involved in NSW-Canberra cricket, Newcastle, ACT and Illawarra (Wollongong) boast a wealth of talent, making Suidgeest’s stint even more meritorious.
“Cameron was brilliant, he definitely handled the step up,” coach Trent Ball said.
“The two boys together, Cameron and Ryan Brown, they were fantastic.
“We’re hoping both get picked for NSW Country.
“There were some unbelievable players here.”
Suidgeest claimed the inaugural Robbie Jackson Medal, after his Wodonga club-mate.
Lavington’s Brown claimed eight wickets.
Riverina lost its three games, with classy Belvoir left-hander Drew Cameron posting the top score of 48 against ACT.
