WATT A Platter founder Cass Watt shares her recipe for tasty, gluten-free turkey burgers.
She said turkey mince added a great flavour to the humble burger.
- 1kg turkey mince
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup Golden Flax Flakes*
- ½ cup almond meal
- Allspice Seasoning
- Pink salt
- Cracked pepper
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 grated carrot
- 1/2 grated onion
- Grated cheese (optional)
Combine all of the above ingredients.
Using a tablespoon, take two heaped tablespoons of the mixture to create a patty.
Cook the burgers in the frying pan in either coconut spray or olive oil.
