Hosted by TAFE NSW National Environment Centre, the open day on Saturday will allow the community to learn about ethical and organic farming practices.
The 160-hectare, specialist TAFE NSW farm demonstrates sustainable and local food production systems.
It teaches permaculture and organic farming, which is based on agro-ecological principles.
The open day will offer two farm tours between 9am and 10.30am and 10.45am and 12.15pm. Bookings are essential through Eventbrite.
A sausage sizzle will showcase organic lamb and pork snags from 10am to 1pm.
Seasonal farm produce will be on offer from the Green Gate Farm Shop from 9am to 1.30pm.
Lucky door prices will be drawn before each tour.
For details email maria.bertoncini1@tafensw.edu.au.
Seasonal produce is available from the farm shop on Thursdays (excluding school holidays). Excess produce is sold at Almar Organics.
