Anderson and the other riders on the 2018 Amy’s Share the Road Tour visited St Mary’s Primary School, Myrtleford, on Tuesday to talk cycle safety.

“Giving the kids the message that we’re trying to make the roads a safer environment to ride our bikes,” he said.
“Just because the kids aren’t wearing Lycra doesn’t mean they aren’t cyclists.
“It’s only fair that each of those children when they’re riding their bikes they’re given space on the road.”
The Amy Gillett Foundation fundraising tour began in Wodonga on Sunday, passed through Falls Creek, Omeo and Bright the next day and continues on to Melbourne by Friday.
Anderson said lobbying would continue for laws that set a minimum overtaking distance of one metre.
“Victoria’s the only state where it hasn’t been considered,” he said.
“Until legislation is there it’s always going to be a point of contention.”
