Promising East Albury wicketkeeper-batsman Miles Hemann-Petersen has added to his rising reputation with a fighting half-century at the NSW CHS titles.

Hemann-Petersen is one of the youngest competitors at just 14, but he showed his maturity on the opening day against North Coast with a top-scoring 52.
“The top order went early against two quality opening bowlers and then he stuck it out under really hard conditions,” Riverina sports’ coordination officer Terry Willis said.
“He batted through to about the 40th over and held the innings together.”
Chasing North Coast’s total of 209, Riverina was dismissed for 131.
“The younger ones here are either keepers or spinners, he’s the only one batting up the order,” Willis said.
“Through the off-side, he was very good at hitting gaps.”
The youngster also claimed a catch and was involved in two run outs.
Tom Heriot and Rory Jenkins are the region’s other representatives.
