Katie Skinner, who is on maternity leave from her job teaching at Melrose Primary School, said she was buying nappies when she discovered she was tens of thousands of dollars richer.
“I’m at the cash register at the supermarket, but I am so excited,” she said.
“My heart is racing, I’m so over the moon! I’m shaking!”
Ms Skinner said contestants were judged on their online shopping speed, discovery ability, brand knowledge and creativity on November 13.

Ms Skinner said the $50,000 prize would make a huge difference to her life.
“I think I’ll spend the money on a new car as it’s in desperate need of replacing,” she said.
