A man has died following a motor cycle crash at Bundara in the Alpine National Park.

Victoria Police media officer Creina O’Grady said the man, aged in his 60s, was riding with a group of friends on the Bogong High Plains Road, when the incident happened about 1.30pm.
He said police believe the man was riding around a left-hand bend when he lost control, crossing onto the wrong side of the road before travelling down an embankment and colliding into a tree.

The man, who is yet to be formally identified, died at the scene.
Police will prepare a report for the Coroner.
