The 16-year-old Albury athlete crossed the line in a time of 40:35, finishing 17 seconds clear of Rachael Long in 40:52.
Angela Sandral rounded out the top-three with a 41:52.
AWTC president Nadia Mellor revealed more than 170 competitors took on the challenging course, consisting of a 300-metre swim, 13-kilometre cycle and three-kilometre run.
“There was about 50 first-timers, which was excellent,” Mellor said.
“There were women from 13-years-old through to 64, with every age and and ability in between.
“It’s our 10th anniversary and it has grown from 25 competitors to what it is today.
“Even with things like Spartan and other events on, it was great that we were still able to attract such a good number and support local women’s groups in the community.
“I’m really proud of all the women in the community that support this event.

“From the first-timers that have come and give it a go, as well as those who have done the event on a number of occasions and keep coming back to continue their support.
“Last year, there were a lot of women that did the women’s triathlon that came back and did other events at the club, including aquathlons and triathlons.
“There was a lot of talk among the competitors, now that they’ve conquered their first one, that they’ll come back and do more aquathlons and triathlons with Albury Wodonga Triathlon Club.”
More than $4000 will be donated for Tots2Teens Albury-Wodonga – a Border organsation that provides much needed items to young mothers and children in need.
“It was all raised in the lead-up to the women’s tri and the race entries,” Mellor said.
“Tots4Teens were very pleased with that amount.
“It was a well-supported race by the local community in sponsorship and participation.”
Mellor admitted her expectations have certainly been exceeded since the event was established a decade ago.
“The continued support over the 10 years has been excellent,” she added.
