Firefighters and detectives were called to the Conifer Close property about 3.30pm.
The house was fully alight and there was little that could be done to save the home.
Detective Sergeant Chris Hill said a woman had been taken into custody on Friday and released on Saturday afternoon.
She has not been charged and police are investigating the cause of the blaze.
“Those enquiries are ongoing as to the exact cause of the fire,” he said.
“The female hasn’t been excluded from the enquiry.”
The property was assessed by an arson chemist.
The blaze was so intense, part of the building’s roof collapsed.
It took firefighters about an hour to bring the incident under control.
The fire appeared to have started in the home’s living room.
Sergeant Hill said the property would have to be knocked down due to the damage.
Investigators have spoken to nearby residents as part of their investigations.
