Aligned Leisure’s Albury Wodonga Leisure Manager Rachel Engelhardt said the matches were moved to Wodonga to ensure the competition was not affected.
She said the pool was closed across Saturday, but reopened and operational by normal opening time on Sunday.
Ms Engelhardt said staff worked hard to ensure the pool was operational and issues were rectified before Sunday’s Albury Pennant Meet.
“Saturday’s focus was ensuring the issue was rectified before the swimming meet on Sunday and thanks to a big effort by staff, it was ready to go,” she said.
Ms Englehart said the failure in the plant room was addressed and had no long lasting impacts.
